At MOCHA, we are proud to have Mohammed (MOCHA) as our esteemed Creative Director. With a lifetime of experience in the fashion industry, Mohammed began working alongside his family in their fabric store and retail business at the young age of 13. His family's heritage of importing fabrics from Italy, India, and other countries, as well as their expertise in designing and selling women's couture, instilled in him a deep appreciation for quality and craftsmanship.
However, it was Mohammed's insight into the limited design options available for men's fashion that truly set him apart. He recognized that men's fashion had remained stagnant for centuries, and he made it his mission to change that. With his keen eye for detail and unwavering commitment to innovation, Mohammed has become a driving force in the fashion industry, pushing the boundaries of what is possible and redefining the modern man's style.
As a child, Mohammed assisted his sister while she was painting, and ever since then his interest started to grow. The encouragement from an art teachers in Junior school started his journey into exploring Art & Crafts As a teenager Mohammed showed keen interest in Fashion, Unique styles, Hair Do’s, often Curated unique styles for himself while Experimenting on his own Wardrobe, which would often become a trend and he would be praised about his choices. Men’s Fashion has been standing still over time for centuries, and Mohammed sees this as an opportunity to introduce unique styles for men. This gradually led him take the path of Fashion Design and become a Fashion Designer for Men
Why MOCHA?
The brand name MOCHA comes from a personal story of the Designer Mohammed.
He nick named himself MOHA to communicate with his friends while overseas, his unique stylish attire and appearances made many compliment. On one such occasion, as he had dyed his hair Light Brown, his beloved Uncle Mr AbdulRahman was drinking a Latte Mocha, and he observed mohammed’s overall look which was alike the Latte Mocha. Spontaneously, his uncle gave Mohammed a new nick name MOCHA,
